    2                    avocados, peeled and seeded, cut in -- lengthwise slice

           sprinkle      lemon juice
    1      lg            ripe tomato -- peeled and chopped
      1/2                green bell pepper -- chopped
    3      tbsp          chopped onion
    2      tbsp          chopped celery
    1      clove         garlic -- minced
    3      tbsp          bottled oil-and-vinegar dressing
                         lettuce
 
 Arrange avocados on crisp lettuce on 6 salad plates.  Sprinkle with lemon juice
 .  Combine tomato, green pepper, onion, celery, garlic, and bottled oil-and-vin
 egar dressing.  Mix well; spoon over avocados.
