      1/2  cup           water
      1/4  cup           butter
      1/2  cup           flour
      1/8  teaspoon      salt
      1/2  teaspoon      caraway seed -- up to 1 teaspoon
    2                    eggs
                         ---Crabmeat Salad---
    1      cup           crabmeat -- chopped
    1      cup           diced celery
    1      cup           lettuce hearts -- cut in small pieces
    1      teaspoon      lemon juice
    1      teaspoon      onion -- finely minced
                         salt -- to taste
                         paprika -- to taste
                         mayonnaise
                         tomato wedges
                         lemon wedges
                         hard-boiled egg -- sliced
                         ripe olives
 
 Heat oven to 400. Heat water and butter to boil in saucepan. Stir in flour, sal
 t and caraway seeds at once. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves
  sides of pan and forms a ball, about 1 min. Remove from heat. Cool. slightly a
 bout 10 min . Add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth and velvety after e
 ach addition. Spread batter evenly in bottom of greased glass 9" pie pan. (Have
  batter touching sides of pan, but do not spread up sides.) Bake 45 to 50 minut
 es. Cool slowly away from drafts. (The puff will form a bowl - high on sides an
 d flat in center. Fill with Crabmeat Salad.
 
 Crabmeat Salad:
 Mix lightly crabmeat, celery, lettuce hearts, lemon juice, onion, salt and papr
 ika. Chill. Just before serving, toss with mayonnaise to moisten. Heap in salad
  bowl. Garnish with tomatos, lemons, eggs and olives.
