                        Spinach 'N Strawberry Salad

   12      ounces        fresh spinach
    2      tablespoons   sesame seeds
      1/4  cup           safflower oil
    2      tablespoons   salad vinegar
    1      tablespoon    sugar
    2      tablespoons   minced green onions
    1      teaspoon      salt
           dash          pepper
           dash          tabasco sauce
    1      pint          strawberries -- sliced
 
 Wash, trim and dry spinach; refrigerate.  Toast sesame seeds on pie pan
 in a preheated 350°F oven, shaking once or twice until golden, 10-12
 minutes; cool.  Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, onions, salt, pepper and
 Tabasco sauce in tightly covered container; shake until sugar and salt
 are dissolved.  Refrigerate.  
 
 To serve:  Tear spinach into bite-sized pieces; combine with seasme
 seeds in salad bowl.  Toss with dressing; gently toss in strawberries.
