                         new potatoes
                         frozen peas
                         ---white sauce---
    3      tablespoons   butter or margarine
      1/4  cup           flour
      1/4  teaspoon      salt
    1      cup           milk or milk substitute
 
 Boil potatoes and peas until done. Drain. Pour white sauce over and stir til mi
 xed well.
 
 White sauce:
 Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, and dash white pep
 per.
 
 Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens 
 and bubbles. Remove sauce from heat when it bubbles.
