    6      whole         chicken breast halves without skin
      1/2  small         onion -- chopped
      1/4  cup           soy sauce
      1/4  cup           brown sugar
      1/2  tsp.          ground ginger
    1      clove         garlic -- minced
    1      TB            dry sherry
 
 1. Mix everything except chicken; pour over chicken in crock pot.
 
 2.Cook on low for 5-6 hours.
