      1/2  teaspoon      salt
      1/8  teaspoon      garlic powder
      1/2  teaspoon      monosodium glutamate -- optional

 Combine all ingredients in a small until evenly distributed.  Put mixture i
 n a foil packet or small glass jar.  Label with date and ingredients.  Stor
 e in a cool, dry place.  Use within 6 months.
