   12                    peaches
                         --peeled, pitted and mashed
    1      cup           orange juice
                         --or juice of 2 oranges
    3      tablespoons   orange rind
                         --or rind of 1 orange, cut fine
      1/2  cup           maraschino cherries -- cut fine
    6      cups          sugar
 
 Combine all but cherries.  Cook gently for 1 1/2  to 2 hours.  Ladle into
 hot, sterilized jars and seal with paraffin.  Makes 12 baby food jars.
