Creamy white sauce

 
                             CREAMY WHITE SAUCE

    2       tb           EDEN SaffloWer Oil
    2       tb           Unbleached white flour
    1       c            EDENsoy
                         -OR- any EDEN food beverage
      1/2   ts           LIMA Sea Salt
    2       ts           EDEN Mirin
    2       lg           Cloves garlic, pressed
      1/8   c            Fresh parsley
                         -- (chopped finely)
 
   Mix oil and flour in a heavy saucepan. Heat over a low
   flame stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes. Slowly add
   EDENSOY, Stirring constantly as sauce thickens. Add
   salt, garlic, and mirin. Simmer on low heat uncovered,
   stirring occasionally for 5-10 minutes. Remove from
   heat and stir in parsley. This is great on vegetables,
   tofu, seafood, or pasta.
   
   Prep Time: 5 minutes * Cooking Time: 10 minutes *
   Yield: 1-1/2 cups
