    6      ounces        cream cheese
    1      cup           Gruyere cheese -- shredded
    1      tablespoon    milk
    1 1/2  teaspoons     prepared mustard
      1/2  cup           apple -- peeled and shredded
    1 1/2  teaspoons     chives -- chopped
 
 Beat cream cheese, blend in Gruyere, milk, and mustard. Stir in remaining
ingredients.
