Flake cookies

       Title: Flake Cookies

       Yield: 24 servings
  
       1 c  Flour
     1/2 ts Baking powder
     1/2 ts Salt
     1/2 ts Baking soda
     1/3 c  Butter
     1/2 c  White sugar
     1/2 c  Brown sugar; firmly packed
       1    Egg; beaten
       1 ts Vanilla
     3/4 c  Oat flakes; bran flakes; or
            Grape nut flakes
  
      Mix together all ingredients except flakes.  Then add flakes of you
   choice.  Shape dough into 1-inch balls with floured hands. Place on
   ungreased baking sheet.  Bake at 375~ for 10-15 minutes. Cool; store in
   tightly covered container.
