Jam and oatmeal squares

       Title: Jam and Oatmeal Squares

       Yield: 1 servings
  
       2 c  Oatmeal
     1/2 c  Walnuts; chopped
     3/4 c  Butter; melted
       1 c  Flour; white
     1/2 c  Brown sugar
     1/2 ts Salt
     1/2 ts Baking soda
   1 1/4 c  Jam; raspberry
  
      Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees.   Grease a 9 inch square pan.
     Combine all ingredients except jam and stir well. Set aside 1 cup of the
   mixture. Press the rest of the oatmeal mixture into the pan. Bake 10
   minutes, then spread the jam over the cooked oatmeal mixture.
     Sprinkle the reserved oatmeal mixture over the top of the jam and bake
   for 20 more minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Cool before cutting
   into bars.
