                              No-Bake Cookies

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    2      Cups          Sugar
    3      Cups          Oatmeal
      1/3  Cup           Margarine
      1/4  Cup           Cocoa Powder
      1/4  Cup           Dry Milk
      1/2  Cup           Peanut Butter
      1/2  Cup           Water
    1      Tablespoon    Vanilla
 
 Mix first 4 ingredients in a saucepan.  Heat until it boils, stirring
 well.  Remove from heat; add peanut butter, stirring til it 'melts in'.
 Add oatmeal, cocoa, and vanilla.  Mix thoroughly.  Drop by tablespoon
 on wax paper or clean smooth tabletop.  Let them cool.
 I generally stir in more oatmeal than the recipe calls for because they
 harden up faster, and we can eat them sooner. ;)
