    2      each          egg whites
      2/3  cup           sugar
    1      teaspoon      vanilla
    1      cup           pecans -- chopped
    6      ounces        chocolate chips
 
 FIRST, heat oven to 350 degrees and cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
 
 Beat egg whites until stiff.  Add sugar slowly, then vanilla.  Fold in 
 pecans and chocolate chips.  Drop by small teasp. on cookie sheets, place 
 in oven, TURN OFF HEAT, and leave overnight.  Remove next morning and 
 store in tupperware.
