      1/4  cup           butter
      2/3  cup           sugar
    1                    egg
    1 1/2  cups          flour
      1/3  cup           cocoa
    1      teaspoon      baking soda
      1/4  teaspoon      salt
    1      cup           buttermilk
      3/4  cup           nuts -- chopped
      3/4  cup           raisins -- opt
 
 Preheat oven to 350° Prepare 8x4 inch loaf pan
 
 Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, s
 tir in nuts and raisins.
 
  Bake for 55-60 minutes.
