      1/2  c.            butter -- softened                                     
        2  tbsp.         milk                                                   
        4  drops         peppermint

   Beat together.  Roll into small balls and flatten.  Leave on wax
  paper overnight.  (This is a fun and easy cooking activity to do
  with young children).
